Final thoughts
The power supply is one of the most underrated part of a build. It’s something that people usually try to hide out of sight and forget about but Gamdias might being changing that with one of the most stylish power supplies I’ve ever seen.
It is unfortunate though that it’s higher than average price point may limit the spread of stylish power supplies. ultimately this is a great PSU with a lot of customizability when it comes to how it performs and how it looks and I love how Gamdias is showing an attention to detail not normally seen on a less prominent component but that doesn’t mean that anyone on a budget should feel like they need to buy this power supply over a worse looking but cheaper alternative.
In the end the ASTRAPE P1 650G is a stylish, reliable, customisable and high quality power supply that you will be happy with but it’s just slightly too expensive to be a need to buy unless you truly value looks.
It is super close to being a 5 star power supply but with the price and lack of software control for the lighting I have to rate it a respectable 4/5.
If Gamdias can lower the price to the around $100 I would highly recommend this since it is a great power supply
but until then It’s just a bit too expensive for the average consumer.
