Today, we’ll be taking a look at the Gigabyte UD1000GM PG5 Power Supply. Do you have that new 3090Ti? Me neither but if you were able to and saw the new 16 pin adapter to x3 to 8 pin adapter. You were probably asking yourself, why? Well because there are very few power supply’s that have incorporated a special cable for the new connector. I foresee this being the norm for futire cards from here on out. Reason being they are going to require a ton of power. Gigabyte has provided an immediate solution to that with the UD1000GM PG5. It has that dedicated plug that delivers up to 600W. I really like this. The cable management alone is awesome. No more having to worry about adapters and so many cables going to one graphics card. This may be a little early for the most of us but I am glad we are going in this direction. For all systems the power supply is the heartbeat of the system. It regulates and delivers the power to your system. With out a steady source of power your system would be useless.
