A Closer Look
The Thermaltake Toughpower GF A3 is fairly compact for a ATX power supply and measures 150 x 86 x140mm in dimension. As you can see from the label, the PSU features a powerful +12V single rail at 87.5A which gives you a maximum power output of up to 1050W.
For cooling you’ll find a 120mm fan with fluid bearing that delivers excellent airflow, and comes with the Zero RPM mode. This allows silent operation, and the fan will stop spinning when the system is idle or under low to medium load.
Installation
For our tests, we installed the PSU in to the Thermaltake CTE E660 MX Hydrangea Blue Mid-Tower Chassis. As you can see from the photos below, the chassi has plenty of room, allowing easy cable management. To power the GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER we used the included 16-pin 12VHPWR cable (which is rated up to 600W).
I love the fact the power supply comes with a full set of white flat modular cables. It perfectly matches the Thermaltake CTE E660 MX Hydrangea Blue Mid-Tower Chassis.
