Closer Look – The Test Build
Our test build is based on AMD Ryzen 9 5900X CPU, ASUS Strix B550-XE Gaming motherboard, ASUS Strix RTX3070 V2 graphics card, Team Group Delta MAX 1TB SATA SSD, 16GB ADATA ROG Edition DDR4-3600 RAM, Enermax Liqmax III 360 AIO cooler, and Sharkoon SilentStorm Zero Cool 850W 80+ Gold PSU.
As you can see, there were no problems with RGB illumination or its management. All colors match other devices, and everything looks fantastic.
The CA700 chassis also has easy access to all components. If you use your PC for tests or replace parts more often, you will be satisfied.
Inside is a lot of space. The specifications show that a maximum of ATX format motherboard is supported, but I checked EATX, and it fits without problems.
Because of the open-frame design, we can’t count on noise reduction. It will be about as loud as on an open test bench and depend almost only on the used components. Our setup is very quiet, so it’s not an issue. I assume that all who decide on the CA700 won’t use budget components either. It’s just not the case for a typical PC.
