SJ Smart Remote
Priced at just USD$20, the SJ Smart Remote is a very useful add-on to the SJCAM M20. Packaged within a watch strap that is made from durable rubble (we slapped it about on hard surfaces and scuffing it), the actual smart remote can be popped out of is watch holder. At 35mm x 35mm x 9.6mm, the smart remote is lightweight so can be easily carried in your pocket. It is powered by a watch battery which can be changed on the back of the remote.
The smart remote offers a wide range of functions to control you M20:
- Power on/off
- Weatherproof
- Video/Photo
- WiFi on/off
- Burst Mode
SJCAM Smart RF Remote Controller & Self-Stick
Hitting nearly all the right spots of our guide to buying a selfie stick, the SJ Self-Stick is very lightweight and retracts to just over 12″ in length. Priced at just USD$20, it has a rubberized grip for the handle, and a mounting screw thread at the bottom of the handle. Our only gripe with it is that a mounting bracket is already secured to the end of the Self-Stick, not your standard camera screw thread
SJCAM Smartphone App
A quick mention here for the SJCAM smartphone app which is available for both iOS and Android, and SJCAM has handily placed a QR code for each variant on the side of the box for you to quickly access the corresponding download link in the AppStore/Google Play Store.
As the SJCAM smartphone app has been around a while now, supporting mainly of the previous generations of SJCAM action cameras, it still works capably with the M20. Setup and connection is done very easily and quickly by connecting to the M20’s SSID and entering the provided password, and once connected you can control the M20 via your smartphone, view its recordings, and use the smartphone as a live viewfinder. I did find that there was a lag of around a second between the M20 and the live viewfinder.

This is great, but I found another good camera, it’s AKASO EK7000 4K wifi sports action camera, cheap and good quality, you can go to look at it, then you can do a different review,it will be great.
Should have included a raw sample to review.
Thanks for the feedback. TBH, we were pushed for time with publishing this review so there was a lot we skipped over. We will definitely try to have all the bases covered in future reviews.
