Conclusion and Verdict
In conclusion, the Attila Gaming Headset has great sound (thanks to a generous 7mm driver), Awesome mic quality, but the comfort was a little lacking with the foam ear tips. Now this may just me but I didn’t find the foam tips to be very friendly when squashing and the trying to jam into my ear before they expanded. If you saw the review of the Cougar Havoc BT I was happy to see that silicon tips were included. With that being said if you have another set of earbuds laying around you will be able to utilize those silicon ear tips on the Attila no problems. As you could see in the pictures earlier in the review the design of the plastic will allow you to use just about any ear tip with no fitment issues. Now with my minor issue with the ear tips out of the way I can tell you about the things that just flat out impressed me.
The sound quality was great. The drivers deliver decent bass and clear highs. Once I swapped out the foam ear tips and had a snug fit the Headset became virtually noticeable while I was in an intense gaming session. I said virtually because I still had the wires occasionally getting in my way. I am just a homer for all things wireless. But nonetheless the wires stayed pretty much out of the way and the flat design does help in keeping them tangle free.
The mic delivered and exceeded my expectations. Its removable which is nice if all I’m wanting to do is listen to music or have no need for a mic while playing solo. i gathered the opinion of several of my friends and they said the mic sounded perfect on their end. Super pleased with the mic performance!

Cougar has brought us an extremely affordable Earbud Headset, the Attila, that can be used for full blown gaming sessions behind your desktop or used on-the-go easily carried in your back pocket. You never know when those spontaneous mobile gaming marathons that pop up!
