Conclusion and Verdict
So by now you may have seen the price of this headset. Not bad for 40 dollars. I like it when I come across devices like this. You are not getting anything fancy but you are getting a plethora of solid, basic specs and functions. The audio is what you could expect. The 40mm drivers are on par with what a driver of this size has, as far as output. They have decent sound but can struggle a little at max volume. The bass can become a little distorted but just at max volumes. The comfort is decent. The large earpads allow for plenty of room for your ears and have the right amount of cushion. The cushion is important because the headband can be pretty stiff at first.
The microphone was really the hidden gem in everything I tested on this headset. The microphone was excellent. One of the must haves, in a microphone, is the noise cancellation. This is extremely important for any gamer. Especially those using blue mechanical switches. If you have gamed with someone and you can hear each key stroke you know where I coming from. The noise cancellation worked very well and when I tested this aspect of the headset, I had no complaints from the other end.
