Conclusion and Verdict
So I have had a couple of weeks to give these earbuds a proper rundown. And just like the last set of earbuds I tested from EarFun, that were surprising great, these are even better than the last. The aptX sound offers the range of sound you want. The bass was sufficient and the highs were great. They both complimented each other and provided a perfect soundscape. All of the features of the Free 2 wont go unnoticed either. The features whether they require user interaction or are on the hardware level, they all make these earbuds a fantastic set of earbuds. Oh, and these are only 50 dollars. That price is extremely affordable and you get all the highest level of specifications you could ask for.
The earbuds also feature touch controls. Sometimes I find this feature a nuisance. There can be a lot of tap functions to memorize and can sometimes be accidentally activated when readjusting the earbuds. Even if I am not the biggest fan of touch controls they work great and provide a shortcut to a lot of useful functions. Another thing that is new is the case is capable of wireless charging. That is an extremely handy feature. Another thing that is a great feature is the IPX7 waterproof. These are perfect for day on the water or an intense workout. These are a couple of the features I find very useful. The call quality is going to get some screen time today also. These have been one of the better pair of earbuds I have tested. I always use others feedback on the sound and to date these have received the best feedback from my peers. This is definitely in part because these are equipped with 2 cVc 8.0 microphones(in each earbud), together the 4 enhanced microphones provide noise-cancelling call technology to effectively block out all of background noise. I really enjoyed my time with these earbuds and if you pick up a set I guarantee you won’t be disappointed!
I wore these for hours at a time and never experienced any discomfort. These earbuds include 3 ear sizes to give you a good fit. The ergonomic design makes sure they stay put and they never fell out when I was jumping around
