Conclusion and Verdict
In conclusion, the GX Gaming Headset HS-G680 does have a nice appearance, I was impressed with the comfortable ear cups. The headset consists of a lot more plastic than I was hoping for. Although this does make the headset extremely light. I always wonder about durability with that much plastic. I flexed and twisted these and never encountered an issue, so I don’t think the plastic will be an issue, but I like to have more metal incorporated into the structure of the headset.
Now how about that sound? The sound was good. I do think the 50mm carries a slight edge in the bass department. compared to any other size of drivers. The HS-G680 can carry its own weight in the sound department. Call quality is good and the sound at max volume is very good. There is a little distortion with the bass at full volume. All-in-all a very rounded well performing Headset.

The HS-G680 is a very comfortable headset that has very cool and comfortable look. I was once again impressed with the Genius brand. These guys are making quality products and standing behind their statements. Give the HS-G680 a look if you want a headset that can function well as a music player, gaming headset, or even a calling device.
