Package and its contents
The packaging of the Cloud MIX is close to what we could see in previous HyperX headsets. It’s a medium-size box with a multilanguage description. The box is well-designed and should present great on the retail store shelf.
On the package, there is info about the product, additional specifications, warranty period, support, compatible devices, and many more. Simply everything we may need to know without opening the box. This is how the product package should look like.
Inside the box, we will find the headset, detachable mic, user’s manual and some additional cards from HyperX telling about its products, and a smaller box with a cable set which is required if we don’t want or can’t use a wireless connection.
All cables are braided and strengthened so we are sure that should last long. On the other hand, all these cables are also soft and bend easily, so they are comfortable to use. Connectors are gold-plated what also guarantees a high-quality and long life. Simply perfect.
The only thing I would change is a power charging cable, which is in USB-A to the micro USB standard. It’s not a matter of cable but more like a power charging connector in the headset itself. Since it’s a new product and the market is moving into USB-C, then I would expect to have a USB-C connector that I can use the same as any modern smartphone or other devices. The headset can be charged with any USB port or a smartphone charger. Can plug it into a laptop computer or standard desktop computer.
