Closer Look
So guys let us just, like usual take a look a tthe packaging first.
Here we have the boxart of the Onda Pro gaming headset, it is as you can see the white version of the headset. On the box we see a big picture of the headset with some information and features on a black and blue background.
The box art is just like the Steelseries Elite and H-Wireless on a wrapping over a stonger black box, I will show you in a second.
Then on the back we see some more, and more in detail. The features and specifications of the Onda Pro.
As I said before, this is the box. It looks pretty cool and more ‘premium’
Then inside the box we have a carrying case with within the actual headset, the case feels solid and looks good too. I do like it that Ozone included a hard carrying case, it is a nice extra.
Then we finally come to the headset itself, well protected thanks to the case. Here you can aslo get a glimps to the thing I hate about headset, the waaaay to big in-line remote.
Here is a look what is actually included with the onda pro, obviously we have the headset itself, the microphone, a clip and a user manual. of course we have the case as wel but I showed you that enough I think.
As you can see this is the white version of the onda Pro. The headband is really soft and padded also are the ear cups. The rest of the headset is made out of plastic, it feels solid but I have seen stronger headsets.
Then onto the in-line remote, in most cases I absolutely hate it now I really do! Why? First it is just waay to big and weights to much, it hangs in my way and slings against everything. I just prefer no in-line remotes or really small light weight ones like for example the Steelseries 9H one was perfect for me.
Then the microphone, I like it is not a permanent one like for example the X2 Saturn I reviewed some time ago, but I am still not really a fan of detachable mic’s just for the reasons messy people (Sometimes me too) easily lose small things like that and then what buy a new headset? I am just a bigger fan of the retractable Steelseries microphones or something like that. But again it is better then a permanent one which is always in your way.
