Conclusion and Verdict
In conclusion, those of us that have been in gaming for a while can appreciate a product like this. These entry level products are still needed. If not for price then to just open the door for people wanting to get into gaming but not wanting to spend an arm and a leg to get into it. This headset is going to provide the basic requirements in their respective category. With that I wouldn’t expect to have to pay a lot for that either. And that is exactly what we get with the V330. We get limited connections, no RGB, or software control. What we do get is a decent sound and the ability to converse with your friends while gaming. This headset is perfect for someone that is budget conscience or just getting started. Now if you are like me and want to some continuity in your products then you have a headset, mouse, and keyboard all aligned in the same direction. You can get started with all of the products from the Vx30 series from Patriot for around 100 dollars.
The headset was just as comfortable as the expensive brands. The earcups provided plenty of room and the amount of adjustment was perfect for finding the right fit. The 40mm drivers seem to industry standard drivers but work well as a starter headset. For the price these actually have really great sound. They are no way the best I have ever come across. But I wasn’t really expecting that. But I was expecting decent enough sound and a good enough mic for gaming and that exactly what I experienced. No complaints from me. This headset will provide you well in your journey to the next level!
The Patriot Viper V330 Gaming Headset can be found on Newegg as well as various other e-tailers for around $27.99 USD. You can also buy the Patriot Viper V330 Stereo Gaming Headset for around USD $33 from Amazon – https://amzn.to/3tZlXlT
