Conclusion and Verdict
Well there we have it the Arctis 7 brought to us by SteelSeries. So I told you I would reveal my opinion and here it goes. The slight loss in quality is very minimal due to these being wireless. The headset still sounds great when compared to the wired version. The lightweight construction, the suspension headband, and the customizable features all set this headset above the rest. The sound is above par and when SteelSeries claimed a game-changing microphone, they were correct. The new Arctis line is more affordable than previous versions and no quality or compatibility has been sacrificed in the that process. I expect nothing but the best from anything tagged SteelSeries!
Just like the Arctis 5 the mic is noticeably clearer. So in conclusion make no mistake SteelSeries is serious about their headset lineup and one thing to note overtime SteelSeries has brought their prices down compared to where they were before these headsets. The fact they are becoming more affordable and therefore can reach a larger group of people that may have held off just because of the price.

Final thoughts:
SteelSeries has brought us once again one of the best lines in gaming headsets the Arctis. I received the Arctis 7 and I was excited to compare them to the wired Arctis 5. I was pleasantly surprised that it sounded just as good as the wired version. If you’re looking for that perfect wireless headset look no further and get this headset you won’t be disappointed!

How is this headset ear cup? I have big ears and one of the major concerns is the ear cup size. I have been using a sennheiser pc350 which have big ear cups and can fit all over my ear. I recently acquired the hyper x cloud and i am not totally satisfied.
Headsets that feature “ear cups” are ones that cover the entire ear by definition. I don’t think there is minimum dimension to qualify the headset as “ear cup”. I can measure the headset ear cups if you would like to know if the Arctis headsets from SteelSeries would fit your ears.
