A Closer Look
First let’s take a look at the packaging of the Flux In-Ear Pro,
The Packaging is again very nice, Steelseries do know how to make attractive packaging. A black box with a picture of the Flux and some specifications.
Then on the backside we can see some information about the product, and what accessories are included Like the Flux In-Ear pro unit itself, a carrying case and a switchable cable end.
Here you can see the the things included with the Flux In-Ear Pro: The Flux In-Ear pro itself obviously, a carrying case, a PC cable with a 3.5mm headphone jack and a 3.5mm microphone jack, 4 different ear tips (S, M and L size. and a pair of comply foam tips), a pair of ear guides and a steelseries sticker.
Here we can finally see the actual Flux In-Ear pro’s there is a little Velcro band to wrap around the ear-buds so they keep sticking to the case.
Steelseries included a PC cable with 2 3.5 mm jacks, one for the Mic and one for the audio. With an easy removable system sou you can swap from mobile to PC and visa versa.
Here you can see the Flux with the ear guides, I really prefer to use the earphones this way, than just hanging them over your ear. It just feels better and more secure. But it is possible to use them without or just in your ear the normal way. But Steelseries recommends to wear the over the ear.
This is something I really love, they included 3 sizes of silicone ear tips a Large one, a Medium one and a small sized one. Some people have bigger or smaller ears then others or they prefer bigger/smaller ones. So its awesome they give you a choice. They also included a pair of comply foam tips: “Simply roll the tip into a thin, round cylinder and insert into your ear. The memory foam will slow expand to the shape of your ear and create a nice seal to improve the listening experience. You’re welcome.”
The Flux In-Ear Pro’s are colored in a Black and Grey color scheme, what i find very nice, The earpiece itself is black with a grey area with the Steelseries logo on it. The cable of the Flux is flat, which is awesome, it can’t tangle as much as other plastic cables.
