Packaging & Features
As with all the over SteelSeries headsets that we have had the privilege to review, the Siberia 350 is well boxed, and inside simply contains the headset itself with an envelope containing some SteelSeries logo stickers and a warranty card.
No dual connectors here, just a USB connector along its thick 1.5m wiring to hook up to your computer (PC or Mac) or PS4. The in-line remote lies approximately 40cm down from the left ear cup, with just a rolling volume control.
The stand out feature for the Siberia 350 has to be the pixelated LED lights on the side of either ear cups, which are fully RGB and customizable with the Engine 3 software which we will look at later in this review. Don’t like the standard orange glow that comes as default? Why not switch it to a deep purple or an electric blue.
The boom microphone on the Siberia 350 retracts, when not in use, back into the left ear cup. When fully extended, the microphone is fully adjustable to the position you want it to be; closer so you can whisper into it, or further away so that it does not distract you. The microphone is activated by a switch on the back of the left ear cup.
