Conclusion and Verdict
In conclusion, For as many accessories and the difficulty of setting up a wireless headset, SteelSeries has done a bang up job on making the process as seamless as possible. But now we can by pass all that nonsense and use the BLUETOOTH! I think this was a great addition to add to their headset. The Bluetooth capability makes everything so much easier and hassle free. The transmitter is sleek and stylish. The headphones are absolutely stunning. The sound, like always, is fantastic and now you can use the best to make phone calls.
The only thing left on my wishlist for one of the best headsets I have ever tested is having the suspension head piece. If you compare these to the suspension headband, they get beat by a mile. Keep in mind the most comfortable headset I have ever worn, were the V3 prism. I am not saying these will destroy your head but by just comparing to the most comfortable headset available, these are average on comfort. One thing I did was stretched the plastic over night. I simply used the box and placed the earcups over the sides of the box and let them sit. This process helped in taking the Squeeze out of the new plastic. The sound deliveries high quality lows and highs. The Dolby 7.1 makes everything awesome. You will hear things you have never recognized before. The Bluetooth works very well and I never came across any issues while using them on my phone, xbox one, or computer (through a Bluetooth dongle). The price is steep but you get an awesome product that will be able to stand the test of time with the long list of capabilities.
