Verdict & Conclusion
I will start with my main gripes of the Cronos RGB; the materials used. The plastic used for the headset looks rather flimsy, but don’t be fooled as I’ve twisted the headset in all sorts of ways and the headset has stood up very well to these contortions. Even though the microphone audio quality is excellent, the microphone boon is just too intrusive, I would have preferred if it was removable.
As with any Thermaltake gaming headset, the Cronos RGB maintains their high level of audio standard. I honestly did not expect the Cronos RGB to perform this good when I first picked it up. The surprise of the lot comes from how good the microphone audio quality is, and I’ve used it during Skype calls.
Priced at around USD$80, Thermaltake Tt eSports Cronos RGB gaming headset will surprise you in terms of the audio quality and packed to the brim features, and I will definitely recommend this as a perfect starter gaming headset to everyone.
