Conclusion and Verdict
The connection is solid. The only time I would experience the drop or cutout was when I completely cover the earbuds with my entire hand. No complaints on the connection. Now let’s discuss the sound. The sound was very clear, decent sounding bass, and I felt like the earbuds held up well at full volume. The fit from the silicon tips also enhances this clear sound and you have 6 sizes to find the right fit. To have a great sound out of an earbud a tight seal is a must. Did the battery last very long? Well I’m glad you asked, because I can report to you that they indeed last as long as advertised. Having a case that also double as a power bank for your earbuds is an awesome feature.
I haven’t tested the water resistance yet, but they have the certification letter on the product webpage. So, you can safely assume they stand behind the rating. They will get the proper test as soon as it gets warm enough to uncover the boat. If there are any issues with the water rating. I will be sure this review gets updated.
Call quality? The noise cancellation is there and present and I never had a complaint from the other end. I like the touch controls and there are a bunch of them. I found them to be mostly intuitive. I had to look at the guide a couple of time because each earbud has its own functions. You can easily activate the touch when adjusting the earbud. That is because the touch sensitive area is covering the majority of the surface area. On the plus side, the touch area is different than the rest of the earbud so you can easily distinguish between the earbud and the touch control area.
My only complaint is the app. You can’t use it unless you sign up.
