Conclusion and Verdict
So I wanted to thoroughly test the audio quality of these headphones. Because even if I find decent headphones that are only 20 bucks, I still want to have an enjoyable listening experience. I figured if anyone interested in headphones are going to initially ask, “How do they sound?” Like so many others, we can only offer our opinion about the sound. I can be particular about sound. If it isn’t up to certain level, then what’s the point? The worst is crackly or distorted sound. So, enough of the carry on. These headphones have a pleasant sound. The 45mm drivers deliver on the deep bass. Nothing is going to make your jaw drop because the sound is that amazing but I definitely wasn’t disappointed with any aspect of the sound. Then if you were to tell me they are only 50 bucks then I can see these a very sound investment. These are the perfect headphones to take with you anywhere you go. They can fold up and be tossed in a bag with no worries.
I wore these for hours at a time and never experienced any discomfort. They have a nice snugness but are very comfortable with the type of earcups. The ergonomic design makes sure they stay put and they never fell off when I was moving around. They have a height adjustment on the headband but no swivel on the earcups. The battery life was pretty much as good as advertised. I nearly got the 30 hours of continuous play. They stopped playing somewhere in between the 29-30 hour mark. The way I tested these was by turning them on and just periodically checking them. It would have taken days to get through these batteries if I used them regularly.
ANC in simple terms is a noise produced that’s basically undetectable as a sound, that cancels out ambient noise. Its a white noise to drown out other noises in the background. I have noticed that on some headphones with these feature on, take a small hit in performance. That being battery life and even in some cases, sound. The ANC worked very well and I hardly noticed a fall in performance when it was active.
