Unboxing
Looks/First impressions
The XSound Go looks and feels extremely nice and high quality, coming in at 0.8 Pounds it is extremely easy to carry this speaker around and using the included wrist strap you could tie this to a bag and hike or even run with this speaker in tow.
All of the buttons on this speaker are on the top, they are all flat but extremely tactile and give a nice “click” when pressed so you know when a button is pressed.
The entire speaker is covered in a rubberized matte finish giving it a great grip and soft feel when being held as well as helping to reduce fingerprints. My only complaint here is that the included USB cable is quite short coming in at about 2 feet you’ll need to either keep the speaker close to a wall when it needs charging or get a longer cord from another store.
Overall this speaker feels and looks amazing but because of the short included cord I’m scoring this aspect of the speaker a 4.5/5.
