Summary
After a week with this speaker about all I can say is “Wow does this really only cost $40?” And somehow the answer is yes. I’ve personally spent $40 on much more inferior speakers by larger companies all while Tribit is making a name for themselves by making amazing products at amazing prices.
If you are in the market for a portable speaker to take to the beach, the woods or even just around the house I would Highly recommend the XSound Go. While there are certainly cheaper speakers out there you will not get this kind of quality from a $5 speaker.
This feels like a $100 speaker that is being sold for $40 and for $40 it doesn’t get much better than this. You can buy the Tribit XSound Go for $39.99 on Amazon.com.
Pros:
- Amazing sound.
- Sound stays clear and distortion free even at full volume.
- Strong but not overpowering bass.
- 24HR+ Battery life.
- Water resistance.
- Great Bluetooth range.
- Relatively quick charging.
- Great frequency range (25hz-17500hz).
- Built in Mic.
- Great speaker phone/mic quality.
- Great speakers for the price ($39.99).
Cons.
- Doesn’t get very loud (Gets loud enough for personal use but not loud enough for parties/large areas).
- Short included USB cable.
Final Score
Honestly these speakers are near perfect for the price, All the cons I found were either easily fixable (buying a longer cord) or would only affect a small amount of users (speakers not getting extremely loud) which is why I am giving these speakers an amazing score of 4.5/5.
