Conclusion and Verdict
So what did I think of the upgraded version? Well what’s the most important thing about a speaker? The sound of course. I can tell immediately that Tronsmart improved the internals of the T6. The sound is clearer all around. They claimed a better 360 degree sound and that was definitely the case. The sound is louder when the speaker is in any direction. So no matter where you are standing in relation to the speaker you will still get a good listening experience. Next lets discuss the more streamlined design. I like it! The overall material is exactly the same and the durability on the old version was phenomenal. I still use the old T6 plus to this day and I am not gentle with the speaker at all. The thing has been in and out of a back pack too many time to count and has rode on the dash of a truck, and been outside at the beach for many of hours. And not a rip or tear in the outside yet! So the material they use is very durable to say the least. The only thing I can see happening with the new design is, when I lay the speaker down I would use the area of the buttons as a stop and rest the speaker there. This new design does not protrude as far and will allow the speaker to continue to roll. So just be careful if you lay the speaker on its side if you are on a sloped surface or you may be chasing after your speaker! Now lastly, I haven’t used the NFC function in the past for connecting to any speaker. But after using the function I can see why they added it. Its faster and seam to very stable. I may use this or look for this function more in the future. If I was disappointed in anything about this speaker it would be that it doesn’t pair with the original T6 Plus. I was hoping to daisy chain the two together to see what having two was like. But unfortunately they will not pair with each other.
The equalizer can be changed to 3 audio modes to suit any type of music (Vocal, 3D Deep Bass and Extra Bass) according to your wishes, all you need is an “EQ” button to control your music effects.
The default music effect is Vocal without the indicator. The 3D Deep Bass music effect turns on when the white indicator on. The Extra Bass music effect turn on when the green indicator on.

The T6 Plus Upgraded is a great improvement over the original and you are getting a better speaker for basically the same price! Better sound, new functions, and streamlined design make the T6 Plus Upgraded a speaker worthy of the Upgraded title!
