What’s in the box?
The package is typical for Acer branded storage products. The exterior is well-described, with general specifications and product info. Inside is a quick start guide and a single screw that can be handy if we miss it in our motherboard or laptop.
The SSD is in the most popular M.2 2280 form factor, supported by most modern devices. As mentioned on the previous page, components are only on one side of the PCB, guaranteeing compatibility with thin laptops.
Under the really flashy green sticker is a graphene thermal pad. It promises lower temperatures, but as we already tested on other SSDs, we can’t really count on miracles. It’s still better than a regular label.
The FA200 has a free digital version of Acronis software, which helps us move the old data and operating system to a new SSD. It’s available for download on the Acer Storage website.
Let’s move to the next page to see our test results.
