The FA200 SSD performs better than expected in most tests. It’s not the fastest SSD, but it wasn’t designed to beat any world record. It’s still a solid option for home and office computers and even demanding gamers.
Besides a pretty good performance, the FA200 runs quite cool and has a single-sided design, so it’s perfect for tight spaces like modern ultrabooks. It’s also compatible with PS5 consoles.
The only problem I found was availability. I couldn’t find the FA200 in any popular online store. It’s listed in some smaller stores but not in stock, and the price is much higher than expected. I assume we must wait 2-3 weeks to see them listed in stores like Amazon at a reasonable price.
The same as the previously reviewed MA200 SSD, also the FA200 is covered by a five-year warranty. The manufacturer must be sure the product is good if it offers an extended warranty.
