Today, we ‘ll be taking a look at the Corsair MP700 2TB PCIe Gen 5×4 NVMe M.2 SSD. It’s powered by a Phison E26 PCIe 5.0 SSD controller, and uses Micron high density 3D TLC NAND chips for outstanding endurance and high performance.
It has a massive storage capacity of 2TB and offers a read and write speed of up to 10,000 MB/s. This means you will be able to load your favorite software or games with lightning speeds. It’s perfect for any desktop PC or laptop.
Power users such as video editors who handle large files will enjoy the speed that the Corsair MP700 has to offer.
For cooling , the SSD does not include a heatsink, but it does come with a thin copper foil/plate and when combined with the motherboard’s M.2 heatsink, provides sufficient cooling.
Confused and NAND flash memory? Well, there are several types of NAND flash memory used in most of today’s SSDs. The two most popular are SLC and MLC, and now TLC. Here’s a little background taken from HOWTOGEEK.
I would like to send a big thank you to Corsair for the review sample! Here is a snippet of what they have to say about themselves on their website:
