The Box and Packaging
Not much to say about the packaging. You get some warranty information and the SSD drive itself, which is protected in a foam enclosure.

The Corsair MP700 PRO SE comes with a fairly large and tall heatsink. On the left hand side you’ll find a tiny active fan powered by a SATA connection. The cable is long enough to route between the PCIE slot and the motherboard backplate to the power supply.
A Closer Look & Installation
We didn’t encounter any issues during installation. Just make sure you route the SATA power cable carefully in between the PCIE slots.
Some users may complain about the noise from the active fan, but to be honest I didn’t hear much noise at all. I’d rather have an adequately cooled PCIE Gen5 SSD, than to have its performance throttled because of overheating.
