AIDA64 Disk Information

As you can see from AIDA64 disk information, the Corsair MP700 uses the Phison PS5026-E26 PCIE 5.0 SSD controller and Micron 3D TLC NAND chips. It supports NVMe 2.0,  PCIE Gen5x4. It shows a total formatted capacity of 2000 GB.

AIDA64 Linear Read Test

“This test is designed to measure the sustained linear (sequential) reading performance of the storage device by reading all data from the surface of the device.”

CrystalDiskMark

CrystalDiskMark is a disk benchmark software. It measure sequential reads/writes speed, measure random 512KB, 4KB, 4KB (Queue Depth=32) reads/writes speed, select test data (Random, 0Fill, 1Fill), provide theme support and Multi-Language support.

During our CrystalDiskMark 4GB test we managed to get a maximum read speed of 14,123 MB/sec with Write speeds of 12,299 MB/sec. It peforms better than advertised which is always a good thing 😀

ATTO Disk Benchmark

ATTO has created a widely-accepted Disk Benchmark freeware software to help measure storage system performance. As one of the top tools utilized in the industry, Disk Benchmark identifies performance in hard drives, solid state drives, RAID arrays as well as the host connection to attached storage.

Anvil Storage

Anvil’s Storage Utilities is a powerful tool that was designed in order to provide you with a simple means of assessing the read and writer performance of your Solid State Drive or Hard Disk Drive.

In our Anvil tests, we managed to get an excellent IOPS score of 290,060.47 for the 4K QTD16 Read. While the IOPS score for 4K QTD16 write was 578,716.68, which is amazing!

Load Temps

Full load temperatures reached a high 55 degree Celsius, which is pretty good. This is all thanks to the integrated active fan which provides sufficient cooling.

Most PCIE Gen5 SSDs tend to run extremely hot during 100% full load, and this could cause the performance to throttle. So it is important to have adequate cooling.

PCMark 10 – Full System Drive Benchmark

The Full System Drive benchmark uses a wide-ranging set of real-world traces from popular applications and common tasks to fully test the performance of the fastest modern drives.

This benchmark writes 204 GB of data to the drive over the duration of the test. This data is deleted when the test ends.

To run this test, you need a minimum of 80 GB of free space on the drive, 8 GB of RAM, and a quad-core CPU.

3DMark 10 – Storage Benchmark

Fast storage means shorter loading times and more time in the game. The 3DMark Storage Benchmark is a dedicated component test for measuring the gaming performance of your storage hardware. Using traces recorded from real games, it tests performance for activities such as loading games, saving progress, installing game files, and recording gameplay video streams.

PassMark 10

Fast, easy to use, PC speed testing and benchmarking. PassMark PerformanceTest allows you to objectively benchmark a PC using a variety of different speed tests and compare the results to other computers.
