The X10 Pro is a great portable SSD and, without a doubt, is an improvement over the Crucial X8. It’s smaller, lighter, and slightly faster. It’s hard to find anything better in the current market.
Crucial, as usual, delivered a product of top quality. Everything from the package to the SSD is well-designed. The SSD is covered by a 5-year warranty, which confirms that the brand is sure of the high quality of its product.
The drive works with all USB devices, but we will need USB 3.2 Gen 2×2 for optimal results, which is officially supported only with USB-C cables. It will be our only limitation if we expect the best results.
The Crucial X10 Pro 2TB Portable SSD costs around $169.99 in the Amazon and Crucial online stores. While writing this review the price dropped by $20 while writing this review, so I’m not expecting it to go any lower anytime soon. On the other hand, it’s already a very reasonable price for what the X10 Pro has to offer.
