HP FX700 2TB NVMe PCIe 4.0 x4 SSD Review

Product Photos and a Closer Look

The FX700 SSD package is a small box with blister protection for the SSD inside. Besides the SSD, inside is a quick start guide and a single screw which can be handy if we are missing it in our motherboard or laptop.

The box’s exterior is well described and provides quite detailed info about the SSD inside.

The SSD itself looks pretty typical for an M.2 2280 SSD. The only exception is the already mentioned graphene heatsink. The size of the SSD lets it work in every type of computer equipped with an M.2 2280 socket. It’s especially advertised as an upgrade for laptops because of its low power and low temperatures, and pretty good performance.

The SSD was tested on the Gigabyte B650E Master motherboard, which uses only M.2 PCIe 5.0 sockets, so it doesn’t limit the performance in any way.

On the next page, we will take a closer look at the test results.
