Conclusion and Verdict
The BPU-124DE-SS Railway Series Backplane hot-swap cage is a high quality product with almost no short-comings. The only way I can think to improve the design would be to make drive installation and removal from the trays completely tool-less and maybe throw in a few SATA data cables for good measure. It looks awesome, runs quiet, It is built to last, and It’ll even let you know if something is wrong! A lot of thought went into this product and it shows. I highly recommend it to anyone needing something along these lines, this is a top notch product from iStarUSA Group!
