Kingston KC2500 1TB NVMe M.2 PCIe SSD Review

Conclusion and Verdict

Kingston KC2500 is one of the best SSD we’ve seen. It offers impressive performance, especially in higher workloads, so it is perfect for high-performance PC and workstations. It’s clearly well-designed storage and everything we can confirm in our tests everything that is declared by the manufacturer. The KC2500 is simply a high-end product for the most demanding users and should satisfy everyone regarding speed and additional features.

The KC2500 is covered by a 5-year warranty that is quite long. Not many competitive SSD have so long warranty period. The only problem for gamers can be the price. Amazon is selling the KC2500 1TB M.2 NVMe SSD for $265. However, we can find prices starting at around $210. It’s still about $40 more than costs the KC2000 in some stores. So I can say that the price is not bad as long as we find a good price as anything around $210 is already a reasonable price. This can also be a “new product tax,” and soon, the price can be lower.

Pros:

  • High quality
  • High performance
  • Available in high capacity, up to 2TB
  • Reasonable price
  • 5-year warranty
  • Acronis True Image HD key included

Cons:

  • Quite expensive in most stores

Final words:

Kingston KC2500 offers a definite performance improvement over the KC2000, while the same time, provides the same high quality features, reliability, and security. It’s hard not to recommend this SSD as everything about this product is excellent. Any professional users or even gamers will be satisfied with this SSD. What’s more, not only do you get exceptional performance and great features, but you also get a long 5-year warranty. The whole package is clearly something special.

The KC2500 1TB NVMe SSD is the next Kingston product, which receives a well-deserved FunkyKit Editor’s Choice Award!
