Conclusion

The CRAS C925 is an interesting option in the current market. It delivers quite good performance, but the more important thing is that it’s designed for tight devices that require low operating temperatures and a single-sided PCB.

The SSD passed all our tests without issues. We haven’t seen thermal throttling, and everything worked smoothly, even faster than KLEVV specifies. However, it’s hard to skip the lower-than-expected results in some tests. I’m unsure if it’s a matter of the firmware or something else, but we expected higher IOPS and random bandwidth in more demanding tasks. It shouldn’t affect gamers and most other users, but it’s still worth mentioning.

The C925 SSD is a new product and isn’t available in stores yet in all capacities. Amazon only has a 500GB version; we expect 1TB and 2TB options in the upcoming weeks. There is no official price tag for higher capacities, but as with other KLEVV SSDs, it’s expected to be competitive and lower than most other SSDs of this class.

KLEVV C925 2TB SSD has an extended, five-year warranty and a very high TBW of 2400. It uses TLC NAND, so we could say it’s expected, but it’s significantly higher than the TDP of most competitive SSDs on the market.

Final words:

The KLEVV CRAS C925 SSD offers good performance, high endurance, and broad compatibility and is expected to be inexpensive. If only KLEVV fixed some performance issues, then the SSD would be perfect. However, we can still recommend it to anyone for daily use, whether gaming or office work.
