The SSD passed all our tests without issues. However, under extended loads, we could see some thermal throttling. It’s related to extended write tests, which rarely happen in daily usage. Real-world application use showed no problems, and the results were exceptional. Nearly all benchmarks showed higher-than-expected performance, even up to 25% better than the manufacturer declares.
The Genuine G560 SSD is a new product and can have problems with availability. Some stores that have it in stock offer it at a high price. Newegg asks for $410 for the 2TB version, which is about $100 higher than expected. I recommend waiting two or three weeks as prices and availability should improve.
