Anyone who is looking for a fast micro SDHC/XC card should look at the Lexar 633x series as it is one of the best options on the market.
The performance in our tests was really good considering it is “only” a micro SD card. Most mobile devices will not be able to reach such high speeds but those who are using the newer cameras will for sure be satisfied. 85MB/s maximum read and 47MB/s maximum write speeds are respectable results for an SD card. We could not reach the 95MB/s on our USB 3.0 controller but it is probably possible on other hardware.
The big advantage of this product is the included USB 3.0 card reader. It is small and solid; and works without any issues, even on USB 2.0. It is a pretty handy reader which may help you to move photos or movies without the need of using any cables. It can also work as a USB 3.0 flash drive.
It is hard to say much about the micro SD card design as all cards are in the same size standard. The only difference is the cards label with the manufacturer’s logo and capacity. I can say it has all that we need on the label.
The 32GB version of Lexar micro SDHC 633x card costs about $30 in stores like Amazon, which is a reasonable price. The 64GB version costs about twice as much while the 128GB version costs twice as much as 64GB. All users who need a fast SDHC/XC card probably will not complain about these prices even though it could be always lower.

It is hard not to recommend the Lexar micro SDHC/XD 633x cards. The tested 32GB version is fast and works on many devices like tablets, cameras or laptops and has a reasonable price. What else we could expect from micro SD card?
