Closer Look

The Lexar JumpDrive M20 package looks pretty standard and the flash drive itself is protected by a plastic blister. On the package we can find all of the important information such as capacity, expected performance and main features.

On the back we can see the general specification and additional data regarding contact with support and the type of warranty. Lexar is offering a three year warranty for the JumpDrive M20. It is quite good as not many flash drive products have a longer warranty period.

As we can see in the specification, the JumpDrive M20 has a standard USB connector in the 3.0 version which is also micro USB compatible with OTG. A lot of users are moving data from their mobile devices and OTG is really helpful to make it quick. Also the high capacity of the flash drive makes it the perfect mobile storage.

The photos are showing the USB connector slider which we can set to USB, micro USB or simply hide both connectors. The capless design is a good feature as you will not lose the cap and the connectors can be always protected from physical damage. The blue parts are transparent and during work you can see blinking blue LED which shows the flash drive activity.

I will not hide that even though the connector slider seems like a nice idea, in this case it was sometimes hard to move. I hope it is only an issue related to our review sample.
