Package and closer look
Lexar JumpDrive M20c has arrived to our redaction in a standard retail package so a mix of plastic, transparent blister and a cardboard with product description. Small, light and protects product well.
Inside we won’t find much more than the flash drive itself but we were not expecting to find anything else. After all package is transparent so we see what is inside.
Flash drive’s enclosure was made of plastic what is not the best choice but it’s light and probably helped to reduce costs. M20c is grey with elements of transparency. There is also key ring loop which can help not to lose the flash drive. I know that many users have problems with that.
In general M20c looks good but designers could work some more to make it more durable. Design is similar to what we could see in JumpDrive M20 and I won’t hide that switching between connectors wasn’t perfect. Also now it’s not the best but it works better.
I’m really a fan of Lexar JumpDrive P10/P20 flash drives which I’m using for long months and they’re perfect for my work. They’re top series of Lexar flash drives so maybe that’s why I feel that something is missing in M20c. It doesn’t change fact that M20c works and looks good.
