Conclusion
Netac surprised us once again. The NV7000-Q performs better than expected, and maybe it uses QLC NAND, but it’s probably the fastest QLC SSD that matches the performance of many TLC SSDs from the higher shelf.
We had no problems with the compatibility or stability of the NV7000-Q SSD. Even though it was not equipped with a heatsink, the SSD didn’t show any thermal throttling.
The only problem is the availability. We can’t find the NV7000-Q in any store, while all previous Netac SSDs are easily available on Amazon. I assume the NV7000-Q is still too fresh and will appear in stores in the upcoming weeks. While we received the 1TB sample, other capacities were unavailable, confirming that the first batch could be delayed. Considering the price-to-performance ratio, we still expect that the NV7000-Q can be one of the best SSDs.
Netac offers a 5-year warranty on the NV7000 series SSDs, which confirms that the manufacturer is sure of the high quality of its products.
Final words:
If you are searching for the most affordable SSD that offers fast transfer speeds, then the Netac NV7000-Q is the one for you. It performs well, runs cool, and is available in the most popular M.2 2280 standard that fits most desktops, laptops, and PS5 consoles. You can’t go wrong with the NV7000-Q SSD!
