In the package, we will find an SSD, two USB cables – type A and C, a small pouch, and a user’s manual.
A short product description, general specifications, and various certificate logos are on the exterior. The most important is a 3-year warranty, which is very long for a portable SSD.
As I mentioned, we will need a high-quality USB cable to see maximum performance. The best is USB-C, as most ports in this standard offer 20 or 40Gbps bandwidth.
The SSD itself is very small and light. It’s made of a soft plastic. Especially on the back, it’s very smooth. The size is perfect to carry it every day. As usual, in the case of portable SSDs, I wish them to have a built-in USB cable as we have to remember always to have one with us. Every brand advertises portable SSDs as very small, but cables take as much if not more, space.
