Packaging & Contents
The packaging that OCZ ships the Vertex 460 240GB SSD follows the traditional black color scheme for the Vertex series while adding a touch of their modern blue hew to the mix. The packaging is compact and labeled with a full color picture of the exact drive included inside and its respective capacity.
The back of the packaging contains a few more selling points as well as some additional details in twelve different languages. Also printed on the back of the package is a list of the included software, the included hardware, and the warranty period.
Inside of the packaging resides a very strong foam mold that houses and protects the Vertex 460 drive and the included accessories. This molding is extremely durable and represents OCZ’s commitment to customers by protecting their investments. The contents of the packaging include the Vertex 460 drive (surprised?), a 3.5″ to 2.5″ bracket adapter, four mounting screws, a contact information card, an installation manual, the Acronis True Image HD software license, and an “I Heart My SSD” sticker. I am pleased to see the included bracket as many manufacturers do not include one with their drives.
