Specification
As we see in the table, reviewed version of Patriot Blaze is the fastest one and also has largest cache of 512MB. Used Phison controller should perform better in 240/480GB models what we can actually see in the specification.
The Blaze also supports TRIM, Advanced Garbage Collection and Smart ECC what keeps your SSD problem free for longer.
Closer Look
Patriot Blaze has arrived well protected in a box. Outside the package we can see most important features like capacity, form factor and connection technology. There are also small logos suggesting this product is compatible with Windows and Mac systems.
On the back side there are listed the same features but also short description of the drive, warranty and support contact info. Mentioning warranty, Patriot is offering three year warranty for the Blaze. Could be longer but it’s still good for a lower SSD series and I don’t think any other brand is offering longer warranty period.
Inside the package we can find short manual and the Blaze itself. SSD has been protected by antistatic bag and put into plastic blister. We simply can be sure that our brand new SSD will arrive undamaged regardless of used shipping company.
Patriot Blaze has standard SATAIII connector and is 7mm thick so we can use it in nearly every desktop and laptop computer.
Front label is not saying us much except that the drive has been manufactured by Patriot, it has 240GB capacity and we can connect it to SATA port.
Back laber has some more info. It includes all what we could see on the front but also product and serial numbers what can be helpful during any contacts with support. Of course we count that support help won’t be necessary.
