Performance and Benchmarks
ATTO Disk Benchmark
ATTO disk benchmarks show a peak write speed of 405 MB/sec, while read speed reaches 562 MB/sec. A very good score indeed.
Crystal DiskMark
A very similar story here. For Crystal DiskMark, the Patriot Ignite 240GB gives a maximum of 562.7 MB/sec read speed, while maximum write speed is around 405.8 MB/sec.
Anvil Storage Utilities
Anvil Storage Utilities shows us the IOPS performance of the Patriot Ignite 240GB. We have got a maximum of 74.6K for read, and 75.1K for write. Not far off from the advertised IOPS taken from their website.
PCMark 8 (Disk Benchmark)
We got an overall storage score of 4931 on the PCMark 8 Disk Benchmark, with a storage bandwidth if 212.68 MB/sec. Not bad, not bad at all … it’s definitely one of the faster SSDs you can get on the market.
