Package and its Contents
The package of the tested GM7000 Heatsink has also been refreshed. It’s smaller than that of the early GM7000 version, but includes everything we may need to know about the SSD.
Besides the SSD, inside the box is a quick start guide and a single screw which can be handy if we are missing it in our motherboard or laptop.
The GM7000 has a digital version of Acronis software, which helps us move the old data and operating system to a new SSD.
The SSD is the same in every capacity and shares the most popular M.2 2280 standard. The graphene pad has been replaced with an aluminum heatsink, which is a much better cooling option and is just right for smaller PCs and PS5 consoles. It has a unique design, so it’s hard to mistake it for any other brand.
We have tested the GM7000 on the AMD platform with a Ryzen 9 7950X processor and Gigabyte X870E Pro ICE motherboard, while photos above were taken on Biostar X870E Valkyrie motherboard.
On the next page, we will look closely at the test results.
