Packaging and Contents
The kit that was shipped to us included the heatsink as well. The packaging is small and adequately detailed to let you know what is awaiting you inside. Detailed, colored pictures are all around the package, so you know exactly what you are getting. Important specifications and features are all printed there to inform you of the capabilities of this exciting new SSD from SABRENT.
Everything is neatly tucked inside the package and the SSD is actually placed inside of a very nice rose-gold colored case! Talk about a top-shelf presentation! In this kit you will also receive a detailed manual explaining how to install the optional heatsink, screws, and even a small screwdriver to make things easier. Nice touch SABRENT!
A Closer Look
The Rocket NVMe SSD is a real treat visually. The rose gold accents on the black backdrop are very nice indeed. This SSD does have a certain build quality that is typically found on the higher-eschelon gear.
The heatsink has copper heat pipes and boy does this product mean business! This heatsink will have no trouble cooling our SSD as you will see later in testing.
