I’m sure that the Silicon Power P34A60 512GB SSD has its place on the current SSD market. The drive is fast, fully stable and inexpensive. This is about everything that most users need. Those more demanding can pick a higher series SSD like the P34A80 but even gamers won’t complain at the performance of the lower brother.
The P34A60, the same as the P34A80, is covered by a 5-year warranty. It’s just perfect for an SSD.
There were no issues during all our tests. The temperature of the P34A60 was quite low for an NVMe SSD – under 50°C for most of the time. There is nothing we can find as a disadvantage except for one little problem with price.
The drive is inexpensive and it’s one of its biggest advantages. 512GB version costs around $73 in Amazon store but if we look some more then we can find it a bit cheaper. The only problem which I see is the fact that faster, P34A80 SSD costs almost as much. In this case, most users will pick the higher Silicon Power SSD. Let’s just hope that prices will adjust in the next weeks.
