I won’t hide that I wasn’t expecting to like the Delta MAX SSD so much. Most SSDs with RGB effects are not looking spectacular and are usually slower than the regular series. If we decide on the Delta MAX, we get exceptional performance (at least for SATAIII) and awesome RGB effects compatible with all popular standards and motherboards. There are no compromises.
During the tests, there was no thermal throttling and no issues with stability. All tests passed smoothly with excellent results.
The drive is in a standard SATA 2.5″ format, so it fits all popular laptop and desktop computers and other storage devices like DAS or NAS. Of course, I highly doubt that anyone would buy Delta MAX SSD and close it in NAS, but if we really want, then it’s possible.
The Team Group Delta MAX 1TB RGB SATA SSD costs around $130 in the Amazon store. We could say it’s not cheap, but competitive RGB SSDs aren’t really more affordable. Let’s say that the price is reasonable if we want to have the best-looking SATA SSD on the market.
The Delta MAX RGB SSD has a three-year limited warranty. This isn’t very long, but also, SATA SSDs usually don’t have a longer warranty.
