TeamGroup T-Force Delta RGB SSD 500GB Review

Verdict and Conclusion

When I initially received the TeamGroup T-Force Delta RGB SSD, I thought to myself … oh no, not another SSD with RGB gimmickry offering only average performance. But I was surprisingly wrong. It turns out it performed better than I expected, thanks to the Silicon Motion SM2258 SSD controller, which produced read speeds of 533 Mb/sec and write speed of 477 Mb/sec.

Using the included 5V USB cable, the RGB lighting effects works perfectly with any motherboard that comes with the ARGB header. And the good news is that it’s compatible with all the major motherboard RGB eco-systems including ASUS Aura Sync / GIGABYTE RGB Fusion 2.0 / MSI Mystic Light Sync / ASROCK-Polychrome Sync/TT RGB Plus/RAZER CHROMA software.

The RGB surface area of the SSD is one of the largest available on the market, and offers up to 16 millions colours. And with the correct RGB software, you can display a whole range of RGB effects.

With a capacity of 500GB, it should be more than enough for most users, be it a boot drive or just your regular drive for storage.

The metal underside adds sturdiness to the drive and helps with the cooling, which at full load reaches a high of 53 degrees Celisus, which isn’t too bad, and the drive to be more than able to cope with no issues.

You can buy the TeamGroup T-Force Delta RGB SSD 500GB for around USD $89.99 at Amazon – https://amzn.to/2W9W1Wc. At this price, it’s pretty affordable and definitely worth considering if you want to add a little RGB to your system.
