Conclusion and Verdict
In the last years, I tested various storage products that include a couple of popular NAS brands. This was my first TerraMaster product review, and I won’t hide that I was positively surprised during the F2-422 NAS tests. This NAS works better than most competitive products I was testing before. It’s also one of the only options which give us a 10GbE connection at such a low price. It’s hard to call $360 cheap, but when we compare it to the competition, then we will have a hard time picking anything at least as good as the F2-422.
My tests were done nearly two weeks ago, and since this time, the NAS is working 24/7 without issues. I’ve performed additional tests moving large data between PC and NAS as I was curious if the specifications are enough for more demanding work. There were no issues with performance, random bandwidth drops, or anything like that. These problems were happening on some competitive products, so I was curious how the TerraMaster acts in these situations.
I already mentioned that the F2-422 costs around $360. At this price, you can find it in the Amazon store. It doesn’t seem inexpensive till we check the specifications and the huge list of features. This is a good investment if we wish to use it for longer and one of the best deals on the market, especially if we are after a 10GbE connection.
TerraMaster also offers a two-year warranty with quick support reaction and fast product replacement. It’s again one of the best options on the current market.

Final words:
The TerraMaster F2-422 is a great NAS device, and I can recommend it without hesitation. It’s fast, stable, and offers an incredible amount of extra features. You get all this at a very affordable price. I am sure that everyone who chooses the F2-422 will be delighted.
