Verdict and Conclusion
Zotac are known for producing excellent GeForce graphic cards and mini PCs, so when they announced that they were entering the SSD market, I was a little skeptical and had my doubts. Well, from the results of our tests, I was totally wrong … so now I have to eat humble pie!
The overall performance was beyond excellent, and surpassed all my expectations. It came out on top in all our of our benchmarks, except for one.
The fast transfer rate is all thanks to the super fast Phison S10 controller, along with 256MB DDR3 DRAM cache, which all helps give the Zotac Premium Edition SSD the edge over its competitors.
To be honest, the design and looks of the Zotac Premium Edition SSD is a little plain and boring. I only wished it had something to show it’s a real beast inside! Some “go faster” colored stripes might make it a little more appealing 😉
Pricewise the Zotac Premium Edition SSD 240GB will set you back around USD $90.00, which I think is excellent. I don’t think you can buy a better performing SSD on the market at this price. Buy now at Amazon – https://goo.gl/1EIXBw
