As far as Streacom is proud that the DA2 V2 still has no RGB lighting, our “reviewers pack” includes tempered glass panels, and our test components are full of RGB, so there is no way I would turn off all these LEDs. On the other hand, I’m not a fan of flashy computers, and I’m glad there are still brands that point out that the style counts more than multiple colorful LEDs.

Below you can see the dimensions of the DA2 V2. The chassis is not the smallest, but it’s also not large. I was thinking about how designers could make it smaller. Still, in every case, I concluded it would have a negative impact on the cooling or possible device configurations while it wouldn’t be so significantly smaller. As long as you think about a higher wattage processor and graphics card, you can’t find anything that takes less space with a reasonable airflow.

As long as you are creative, you can install some components that shouldn’t fit looking at the specification, and that’s also an advantage of this product. You will find out that in our review. However, everything you make out of specifications will bring some sacrifices. I will describe some possible options later.

The DA2 is a compact ITX case designed to strike a balance between size and compatibility, allowing for high-performance components to fit comfortably in a small form factor space.

What truly sets the DA2 apart from other SFF cases is its unique approach to mounting components. It utilizes a rail and bracket system that makes it incredibly versatile, greatly improving the range of hardware and type of systems it can be used for.

Cooling performance was another critical consideration throughout the design process, not only will the DA2 support 145mm tall air coolers or 280mm radiators, it provides excellent airflow for them to run at maximum efficiency and minimal noise.

The V2 features the same great design and modularity but with refined venting hole patterns on the back and side panels that greatly improve the airflow potential. For a full breakdown of all the changes, please see the product announcement.

At this point, I wish to copy and paste Streacom’s introduction, but I will save you that while here is the link to the DA2 V2 detailed description. I have to admit that Streacom is convincing in its words.

In short, you can expect many little differences that really matter and cause that this product is special in its simplicity. I will tell you some more on the next pages of this review.
