Performance
After a few seconds of pairing via bluetooth and the D900 Mini is ready to go. Surprisingly, I found the bluetooth reception to be very good. In the concrete jungles of Hong Kong, normal bluetooth devices will lose their reception when I go up one floor in my block of flats. With the D900 Mini, even after having the signal pass through several concrete walls there was just a slight drop in reception.
After you fit the right rubber earpieces for your ears onto the D900 Mini, I popped them into my ears and they were very comfortable to wear. Add to this how lightweight the earbuds are, after a few minutes of use I had forgotten I had them on at all. The sound quality is akin to its bigger brother the, D900S, still thick with treble and mid-tones and the bass is punchy. One downside to the sound quality would be that at the very high end of the audio spectrum, the sound was a little too sharp. The best thing about using the D900 Mini is how small they are, remaining discreet in your ear.
Battery life was better than stated in the specifications, I managed to get just over 2 and half hours out of them from a full charge. The charger/holder for the D900 Mini is small enough to fit into any tight pocket.
Noise cancellation of the D900 Mini worked very well, at times I found myself shouting at people as I didn’t know how loud I was talking.
